The DG1000Z series function/arbitrary waveform generator is a highly versatile and integrated signal generator, designed to meet a wide range of testing and experimental requirements.

Multifunctional Integration: It combines multiple functions, including those of a function generator, arbitrary waveform generator, noise generator, pulse generator, harmonic generator, analog/digital modulator, and a 7 – bit frequency meter.   2. High – Performance Specifications
    • Output Frequency: With a maximum output frequency of 60 MHz, it can generate high – frequency signals for advanced testing scenarios.
    • Sample Rate: The 200Msa/s sample rate ensures accurate signal generation and reproduction, even for complex waveforms.
    • Vertical Resolution: Boasting 14 – bit vertical resolution, it offers precise control over the signal amplitude, resulting in highly accurate and stable output signals.

  5. Sweep Function & Burst Mode
    • Sweep Function: Supports scanning output from low to high frequency or vice versa. The scanning types include linear, logarithmic, and step. It also allows users to set the “mark” frequency, catering to more amplitude – frequency test requirements.
    • Burst Mode: Offers three types of pulse strings: N – cycle, infinite, and gating. This mode is useful for simulating pulsed signals in various applications.
  6. Multiple Modulation Types: Supports multiple analog and digital modulation types, such as AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, PSK, and PWM. It also accepts both internal and external modulation sources, making it ideal for teaching and communication system testing.
  7. Harmonic Generator: Features a built – in 8 – th harmonic generator function. It can output harmonics with specified orders, amplitudes, and phases, which is commonly used in the testing of harmonic detection and filter equipment.
  8. Waveform Overlay & Channel Tracking
    • Waveform Overlay: Allows users to stack specified – frequency and percentage – amplitude waveforms on the basic wave for output, providing flexibility in creating complex signals.
    • Channel Tracking: When enabled, it updates all parameters of the dual channels simultaneously according to user configuration, ensuring consistent operation between channels.
  9. Built – in 7 – Bit Frequency Meter: The integrated 7 – bit frequency meter can measure parameters of external input signals, such as frequency, period, duty cycle, positive pulse width, and negative pulse width. It also supports the statistics of measurement results and can work concurrently with the dual – channel output.
