The SDL1000X/SDL1000X-E series Programmable DC Electronic Loads are high – performance testing instruments designed to meet a wide range of applications in power, battery/handheld device design, industry, LED lighting, and automotive electronics.
1. Product Overview
These electronic loads feature a 3.5 – inch TFT – LCD display, offering a user – friendly interface and excellent performance. The SDL1020X/SDL1020X – E models have an input range of 150 V/30 A with a total power of up to 200 W, while the SDL1030X/SDL1030X – E models can handle 150 V/30 A with a total power of up to 300 W. The SDL1000X series provides a high measurement resolution of 0.1 mV/0.1 mA, and the base SDL1000X – E series has a resolution of 1 mV/1 mA. The current rise time is adjustable within the range of 0.001 A/μs – 2.5 A/μs. For remote communication and control, they are equipped with RS232/USB/LAN interfaces, and a USB – GPIB module is available as an option. Additionally, a PC software supporting SCPI and LabView driver is included.
2. Key Features
- Operating Modes: There are 4 static modes (CC – Constant Current, CV – Constant Voltage, CR – Constant Resistance, CP – Constant Power) and a Dynamic mode. In the CC Dynamic mode, it supports continuous, pulsed, and toggled operations. The CC Dynamic mode frequency is 25 kHz, the CP Dynamic mode frequency is 12.5 kHz, and the CV Dynamic mode frequency is 0.5 Hz.
- High – Speed Measurement: The measuring speed of voltage and current can reach up to 500 kHz.
- High – Resolution Readback: The minimum readback resolution is 0.1 mV for voltage and 0.1 mA for current in the SDL1000X series, and 1 mV/1 mA in the SDL1000X – E series.
- Multiple Functions: It has functions such as short – circuit, battery test, CR – LED mode, and factory test. The 4 – wire SENSE compensation mode function ensures accurate measurements. The list function allows for editing up to 100 steps, and the program function supports 50 groups of steps.
- Protection Modes: Equipped with OCP (Over – Current Protection), OVP (Over – Voltage Protection), OPP (Over – Power Protection), OTP (Over – Temperature Protection), and LRV (Low – Resistance Voltage) protection to safeguard the instrument and the tested devices.
- External Control and Monitoring: Supports external analog control. Voltage and current can be monitored via 0 – 10 V.
- Data Management: The waveform trend chart function helps users analyze data visually. It also has easy – to – use file storage and call functions, and can save and recall setting parameters.
